Restore
Rest Deeply. Return Strong.
About This Retreat
The idea for this event came when the founder of The Resting Wolf found herself exhausted, overstimulated, and even resentful of the people she loved most following specific, predictable seasons - such as after holidays or right as the kids went back to school. During the pressure cooker moments, sleep is often scarce and nervous systems are in constant fight or flight mode, turning us into people we don't even recognize. And we know we aren't alone. 80% women carry the mental and emotional load for their families. 67% of those responsible for caretaking of elderly relatives are women. Women spend approximately 50% more time on caregiving tasks. Women are expected to play the role of selfless mothers and loyal daughters, without ever being given the tools to replenish what we are constantly depleting. The Restore retreat was created to provide an immediate nervous system intervention and space to rest deeply, while also providing women practical advice and resources to avoid burnout in the future.

What to Expect
- In December, a virtual community will be created to connect retreat-goers with facilitators and each other, and to start to lay the ground work for the restoration we will focus on during the event. Expect "holiday survival" tips and encouragement, meditations, and more to help you navigate this busy season.
- Day 1: Opening circle and set intentions. You Are More Than what You Do for Others - group identity discussion. Delicious farm-to-table dinner, followed by our nightly campfire. Deeply relaxing sound bath and a sleepy tea or mocktail.
- Day 2: Chakra balancing, followed by big delicious brunch. Releasing the Myth of Perfection workshop. Signs and Strategies for Managing Physical Burnout workshop. Reiki training & restorative group session. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping session. Communal dinner and campfire s'mores.
- Day 3: Morning yoga or guided winter forest walk followed by breakfast at the lodge. Closing group circle to discuss individual health prioritization strategies and personal commitment cards.
- Following the event: Virtual community will have the option to continue and will be added to the broader Founders Circle community, which will offer both virtual and Nashville-based events in the future.
- What you take with you: Nine to Kind Possibilities Planner. Knowledge on recognizing burnout vs stress. At home tactics, including self-administered Reiki, EFT Tapping, reflexology, and breath work. Personal commitment card. A newfound community of women in the same stage of life.
